A pair of local high school football players will be competing in the Football Alberta Senior Bowl this Sunday.

It pits the top 40 graduating high school players from the South and North against each other for bragging rights.

It's also a chance for players to get looks from scouts of post-secondary and junior teams.

Okotoks defensive back Wyatt Danard of Holy Trinity Academy is joined by High River's Cohen Orser-Brown, a defensive lineman for Foothills Comp on the South team.

The annual game has been a Football Alberta tradition since 1990 and was previously held on the May Long Weekend.

It goes on Sunday afternoon at 1:15 p.m. at Shouldice Park's Encana Dome in Calgary.
