The Turner Valley RCMP is asking for the public's help with finding Allan Bowman, a 71-year-old local man.

On Thursday, January 4 at 11:23 p.m. Turner Valley RCMP were dispatched to help with EMS and an elderly man that had fallen out of his truck.

The man said he was in a bushy area and could see lights and said he believed he was near his home on Highway 22 near 466 Avenue West.

After extensive searches of the area and his residence they have been unable to find him.

The Calgary Police Service Hawcs helicopter and a local fire drone also assisted in the search however they've all been unsuccessful.

Bowman is described as:

  • Fair complexion
  • Brown hair
  • 6 feet 2 inches tall
  • 240 pounds
  • Mostly bald with some hair on the sides

And he's believed to be with his truck which is a 2012 Grey coloured Ford F-150 with the Alberta licence plate BJD-922.  It's also believed there's a bull bar mounted on the front.
