Foothills Eagles Bantam Football Club's coach Tim Henderson took home the honours of the 2023 Bantam Coach of the Year for his work in the previous season.

Henderson got the best out of his players even when being shorthanded with available players due to injury for half the season. Even with the plague of injuries Henderson and the Eagles found a way to squeeze into the Calgary Bantam Football Association (CBFA) playoffs after winning their last game of the season.

The Eagles would go on to win the CBFA championship, moving them on to Provincial Tier III championships. They would beat the Edmonton Chargers 18-14 in their final game claiming the Provincial championship.

The award was handed out Saturday (March 16) at the Golden Bear Football Coaches Clinic at the University of Alberta.
