The Okotoks Oilers will host the Blackfalds Bulldogs at Centennial Arena tonight (April 5) at 7:00 in their final home game of the BCHL regular season and give back to the Green Army with Fan Appreciation Night.

The Green and Gold currently trail Blackfalds in the standing by two points and are chasing them for the third overall spot.

Blackfalds have 81 points and the Oilers have 79. Okotoks will need to beat Blackfalds in regulation, win again on Sunday (April 7), and hope the Bulldogs don't capture any points in their last game.

With the move to the BCHL, the Oilers will play one more game than Blackfalds and will need to finish two points ahead of them to finish in the coveted third overall spot.

The Green Army can expect giveaways during the night, 15 per cent off jerseys and much more as the Green and Gold salute their fans heading into playoffs.

Sam Huck is currently four points behind the former Oiler Kyle Reynolds for most points in franchise history and will look to close the gap on Friday night.

The last time the two played was on March 24 at Centennial Arena where the Oilers fell to the Bulldogs by a close score of 2-1.
