The Nanton Palominos are getting geared up for the new hockey season and have a new manager on board.

The Palominos weren't able to finish last season due to a shortage of players however they did win the Ranchland League senior men's league just two seasons ago.

The team's new manager is Joseph Day, originally from England and he's looking to recruit players from throughout the Foothills.

One of his first orders of business was hiring a coach and he brought back Shane Weber.
