The Okotoks Oilers dogpiled on the Canucks last night in Calgary.

The final score was 9-2 with Sam Huck netting a hat trick and adding a pair of assists for a five-point night.

Rylan Brown and Hunter Sawka also had five-point nights all coming in the form of assists.

Netminder Mikael Kingo only had to face 15 shots for his fifth win in his last six starts.

The win also moves the team into sole possession of third place in the AJHL with 54 points.  They leapfrogged over the idle Blackfalds Bulldogs with 53.

The Oilers now get set for a pair of home games with the Lloydminster Bobcats coming to town Friday night as Drayton Valley rolls into town for a Sunday afternoon matinee at 4:15 p.m.
