The Foothills Falcons Senior boys' basketball team competed in the 2024 Legendary Bobcat Bowl last weekend.

Bishop O'Byrne and the All Saints hosted the 16-team tournament, where the Falcons won two of their three games.

During their first game, the Falcons took on the St. Francis Browns from Calgary.

After a back-and-forth game, the Falcons won with a score of 79-76.

Their second game didn't pan out quite as well for the Falcons, though.

The Falcons took on Winston Churchill from Calgary, where after the third quarter, the game was tied at 56 apiece.

During the fourth quarter though, the Falcons weren't able to stop Churchill from pulling ahead.

The Falcons lost to Churchill with a score of 80-67.

Their final game of the tournament saw the Falcons win against the tournament host, the Bishop O'Byrne Bobcats with a final score of 76-53.

The varsity girls competed in the 2024 Saints Senior Classic this past weekend, where they played against teams from all over the province.

In their first game, the Falcons took on the girls from Cardston.

Early on in the game, the Falcons took the lead, where they stayed for the rest of the game.

The Falcons won 55-35.

During their second game, the varsity girls took on St. Mary's Saints, who were the tournament hosts.

The first quarter saw the Falcons execute their offensive plays with precision, but the second half was a bit more of a battle.

During the second half, St. Mary's was able to close the gap a bit, but thanks to some sharp shooting, the Falcons were able to beat the Saints 56-47.

The girls advanced to the championship game, where they took on Magrath.

With poise, the Falcons got almost a 20-point lead by the end of the 3rd quarter.

While Magrath tried to mount two comeback pushes during the fourth quarter, they were unsuccessful.

The Falcons won 63-57 and won the tournament.

Both the Senior Boys and the Varsity girls will head up to Strathmore on Tuesday, where the boys play at 5:30 p.m. and the girls play at 7.

The Western Canada Invitational Tournament in Calgary is happening this weekend, where both teams will be competing.
