The Dawgs continue to put runs on the board as they cruised past the Regina Red Sox on Sunday afternoon winning 13-2.

The Dawgs offense has been firing on all cylinders as of late, scoring 95 runs in their last 7 games.

The Dawgs extend their winning streak to 7 games and move to 18-5 on the season.

Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University, GA) launched a 3-run homerun in the bottom of the 1st inning to open the flood gates for the Dawgs offence. Crowell would go 1 for 4, scoring 4 runs. Logan Grant (Bellevue University, NE) would continue his hot streak as he out up 2 RBI, while going 2 for 3 in the win. Ricky Sanchez (Barton College, NC) would hit a triple in the bottom of the 7th inning to score 3 runs on the play, going 3 for 4 on the afternoon. Elijah Hammill (University of Utah, UT) would go 2 for 4 recording 2 RBI. Ryan McFarland (Campbellsville University, KY) got the start and earned the win after tossing 5.0 innings and allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. The Dawgs bullpen made quick work of the Red Sox in the final 4 innings allowing no runs on 2 hits.

The Dawgs are back in action Monday, June 26th as they take on the Sylvan Lake Gulls in a make-up game from the June14th rainout game.

The Dawgs will hit the road for one game on the June 27th in Lethbridge to tangle with the Bulls, opening pitch scheduled for 7:05pm.
