The Dawgs have lost three straight for the first time this season after losing 9-6 to the Lethbridge Bulls on Monday night.

The Dawgs had 12 hits while the Dawgs pitching were able to strike out 11 Bulls in the loss.

The Dawgs record now sits at 37-15 on the season, now tied with Sylvan Lake for 1st in the west with 5 games remaining.

Titus Dumitru (New Mexico State, NM) would record his 6th homerun on the season with a 2-run shot in the 6th inning finishing the night 3 for 4 with 2 RBI. Cole Cramer (Washington State University, WA) would go 2 for 5 scoring with 1 RBI on the night for the Dawgs. Logan Grant (Bellevue University, NE) would record his 24th RBI on the season in the loss. Elijah Hammill (University of Utah, UT) came in to pinch hit and went 1-1 on the night with 1 RBI. Connor Stewart (San Diego City College, CA) would go 1 for 3 scoring 1 RBI in tonight’s loss.

Graham Brunner (Emporia State University, KS) got the start and would toss 4.1 innings allowing 6 hits and striking out 6. The Dawgs would utilize only 4 pitchers from the bullpen tonight, as they were able to hold the Bulls to 7 runs on 8 hits on the night.

The Dawgs will head out for their final road trip of the season as they head out to Lethbridge on August 1st for a battle with the Bulls.

The Dawgs make their way to Swift Current in a 2-game series against the 57s, first pitch scheduled for 7:05 pm on Wednesday August 2nd .
