The Dawgs rallied after trailing 3-1 to the Gulls in the 4th inning and prevailed winning 4-3, extending their winning streak to 8 games.

The Dawgs move to 18-5 on the season extend their lead in the west division by 2 games.

The Dawgs put up 9 hits, while the pitching staff for the Dawgs would strike out 8 Gulls in the win showcasing a complete team effort. Cole Cramer (Linn-Benton CC, OR) would get the Dawgs on the board first with a sac fly in the bottom of the first inning that scored Brendan Luther (Bellevue University, NE). Trent Lenihan (UBC) went 2 for 4 recording 1 RBI. Brendan Luther (Bellevue University, NE) would score the winning run in the victory as he hit a single to center in the bottom of the 7th scoring one on the play and would finish 1 for 3 on the night. Gavin Wuschke (Okanagan College) had a solid first outing and tossed 4 innings allowing 3 runs on 6 hits and striking out 4 Gulls batters. The Dawgs Bullpen came in and shut down the Gulls bats as they held them hitless to seal the victory.

The Dawgs are back in action Tuesday, June 27th as they make a quick trip to Lethbridge to tangle with the Bulls, first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm.

The Dawgs will return home to take on the Swift Current 57’s on June 29th at 7:05pm.
