A dramatic win for the Okotoks Dawgs last night brings their record to two wins and two losses on their road trip.

The Dawgs turned things around with a 5 to 2 win over the Fort McMurray Giants in 11 innings.

Dawgs academy product Graham Brunner put out a commanding performance limiting the Giants to three hits over five and two-third innings, allowing just one earned run.

Things looked bleak at the bottom of the 10th, the Giants had the bases loaded and only one out when pitcher Omar Celaya struck out Travis Turner before hauling in a weak line drive giving the Dawgs one more chance.

Coach Dave Robb says a road trip will bring the team closer together and a game like last night helps to cement the bonds.

The Dawgs finish their road trip today with a 2:05 p.m. start time at Shell Place.
