The roar of engines echoed through downtown Okotoks Wednesday, Aug. 18, as a parade of motorcycles travelled down Veterans Way.

Residents were treated to the Rolling Barrage again this year as they ride across the nation.

Their mission is to generate awareness, raise funds, and enable therapeutic support for individuals and their families who are suffering from the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The Rolling Barrage started on Aug. 2 and is crossing Canada on a daily route until it “takes the ridge” during a grand finale in Vancouver, B.C. on the 21st of August.
