Happy Thursday!!
There must be something in Norway's Water... they are destroying!

Obviously, they are in a league of there own and with 5.2 million people, Norway’s team is outperforming teams from much bigger countries... Could it be they are just a hearty country born to excel in the winter sports?

Or could it be the GDP?
What Norway lacks in population it makes up for in per capita GDP. Consistently known as one of the wealthiest nations, Norway has invested in the infrastructure and the training facilities to back up its Olympic ambition.

Maybe it's their approach to sport... Where every kid gets a participation medal.

Unlike us in Canada and the USA where we keep score of everything, Norway puts kids in sports but doesn’t let them keep score until age 13.
The idea is to make sports part of their social development so that the motivation to stay involved is to have fun with their friends, not winning.

With just over a million more people than Alberta what are they doing right?

Last night Canada's women's hockey team lost the gold-medal game in a shootout to the United States, while Kim Boutin completed a short-track hat trick with a silver-medal finish and the men's 5,000-metre relay team scored bronze.
We are sitting 3rd overall with 9 Gold, 7 Silver and 8 Bronze!

Go Canada GO!
