A few of Okotoks' outdoor rinks have been closed due to the recent warm weather.

The boarded rink at John Paul II Collegiate has been closed until temperatures drop, and the town says reopening it will be a priority once conditions do change.

Suntree Park's ice surface has standing water, and the town is advising residents to avoid it.

Ardiel Park and Westridge Close Park are open, but with limited maintenance.

The rinks at Kinsmen Rink at the Okotoks Rec Centre as well as the Skating Trail at Lion's Campground skating trail are still open, but won't be actively maintained during these unseasonably warm conditions.

The status of Okotoks' outdoor rinks and toboggan hills are posted on the town's website.
