Wins for Okotoks squads in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League while the rookie-laden High River Heat continue to learn on the job.

The Okotoks Marauders tier 1 Junior B squad scored a pair of home wins starting Saturday with a 13-2 win over the Red Deer Rampage.

Then they beat the Lethbridge Barracuda 12-3 Sunday.

The Marauders sit second in the South division, seven points behind the Calgary Shamrocks.

The Okotoks Ladies Raiders also won a pair, but theirs were on the road.

Saturday, they got by the St. Albert Drillers 8-5 and Sunday they were 12-4 winners over the Red Deer Riot.

They're fourth in the provincial ladies' standings.

The young High River Heat lost their only game Friday in Cochrane against the Rockyview Silvertips.
