On Tuesday Feb. 20 at 4:45 p.m. Claresholm RCMP and emergency personnel rushed to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 23 and Township Road 130 in Vulcan County.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene to discover a man in a pickup truck was already deceased due to the collision.
The man has been identified as a 53-year-old from Lethbridge.
The other vehicle was a semi, it was earlier reported that the collision involved two pickup trucks.
RCMP are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision and the highway has since reopened to traffic.
