No luck for High River's Jason Glass Sunday in Rocky Mountain House as the WPCA season came to a close.

Glass had the one barrel in Sunday's "Dash for Cash," but it was Doug Irvine, coming off barrel four who took the race.

Irvine says he wasn't happy with that draw, at least before the race.

"I drew third and there was two balls left, the four and the one and I pulled the four. I was a little sad, but I guess it worked out in the end."

Glass ended up finishing second in the race, followed by Dustin Gorst and Chad Harden.

High river's jordie fike finished 12th in Sunday's final heats, while Okotoks Mark Sutherland was 26th.

Kurt Bensmiller picked up the world title as the WPCA's top driver Saturday night edging out last year's champ, Kirk Sutherland.
