High River's Jason Glass is "laser focused" on winning his second Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby.

He stretched his lead atop the aggregate to almost two full seconds over Vern Nolin with another second place finish in Wednesday night's race.

Kirk Sutherland sits third, with 2015 Stampede champ, Kurt Bensmiller in fourth.

Time may be running out for Okotoks Mark Sutherland though.

He had the 13th fastest time Wednesday night, but is still in 20th spot in the aggregate, about four seconds back of Evan Salmond in eighth spot, with the top eight making it to "Semi-Final Saturday."

High River's Jordie Fike was 28th on day six and sit's 29th in the aggregate.
