The Okotoks Dawgs made it six in a row with a 9-7 win Wednesday night in Weyburn against the Beavers.

Daniel Frederickson led the way at the plate for the Dawgs with four RBI's on two hits and scored a run himself.

Blake Rowlett also got in his licks with a couple of hits, including a dinger and scored twice.

Garret Ciuk picked up his second win of the season for the Dawgs, going six innings, allowing eight hits, four runs, and one walk while striking out five.

Nick Vickers, Michael Bucci, KJ Strickland and Taylor Davis all came in in relief.

The Dawgs and Beavers go again Thursday night to wrap up their series before the Dawgs head to Swift Current Friday.

Despite their six game winning streak the Dawgs are having trouble gaining ground on the Medicine Hat Mavericks in the race for the WMBL West Division title as they're still three-and-a-half games back thanks to the Mavericks rattling off three straight wins of their own.
