The Foothills Falcons basketball teams dominated in their games this week.

During their games against Strathmore, both the girls and boys teams easily walked away with another notch in the win column.

After a bit of a back-and-forth throughout the first three quarters, the boys switched to a higher gear and took the lead and won with a score of 95-78.

The girls obviously started in their highest gear, because they won by 40 points.

Their final score was 74-34.

The boys will be down in Raymond next week to compete in the annual Sugar Bowl Tournament happening December 26-27.

They will be taking on Medicine Hat in the first game of the tournament, which begins at 2 pm on the 26th.

Foothills Composite High School also held their annual Basketball Alumni Night on Wednesday, where Falcon grads were invited to come back and play with former teammates.

"We had over 30 guys and an amazing team of alumni girls participate in the event. I felt so blessed to see so many former players and families last night," said coach Amron Gwilliam in a statement. "They all have had such a big impact on my life and they feel like a part of my family."

During the alumni night, there was a 50/50, potluck, decorations, and entertainment for those who attended.
