Ontario's Allison Flaxey is the Women's Champ at the Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling WFG Masters.

She beat fellow Ontarian, Rachel Homan, 6-3 in the final Sunday, October 30, at the Pason Centennial Arena in Okotoks.

Flaxey says counting four in the fourth end pretty much sealed the deal for her team.

"We just brought the play to the middle and you know, made a whole bunch of good shots in a row. I think we actually just strung a few shots together and that really helped in kind of getting that big end that really locked it up for us."

In the men's final, it was Sweden's Niklas Edin taking out Ontario's Brad Jacobs 5-4 to get the win.
