A little ways down the road is a place called Millarville...and they put on a wondeful farmers market at their racetrack. Today we hopped into our summer cruiser, took a drive, and took a stroll around the market.

There were so many fresh fruits including huge peaches, plump berries, and juicy apples. The veggies were ripe and full of color and the herbs were fragrant. Some other highlights from our trip to the market included the cheese vendor, fresh baked bread, the kettle corn stand, the grass fed beef, and of course the artisans.

The market had everything you needed to make a delicious, and "gourmet-like" meal.

The people behind the stands at the market are the real deal. They are growers, farmers, bakers and artisits. They love and have a huge passion for what they do.

With the sun smiling down, the sky blue, and temperature warm, it was a great morning at the Millarville Farmers Market.

The Millarville Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 9am to 2pm until October 10th. The cost to get in is only $3 and those proceeds go to support programming at the racetrack. Which include supporting youth and educational clubs around the Foothills.

Next Saturday pack your reusable shopping bags, the kids, family, and vistors into the car and drive down to the Millarville Farmers Market!
