The Foothills Composite Falcons ran into some hot teams at the Sugar Bowl basketball tournament in Raymond.

The Falcons lost both their games to two very tough teams.

The team opened with a loss to the undefeated Medicine Hat Hawks.

It was a very competitive game, but the Hawks were able to stretch the lead to 13 points in the end.

The Falcons battled the perennial powerhouse, Harry Ainley Titans in their second game.

It was a very competitive game with several lead changes and was tied with just three minutes left.

Unfortunately, Ainley was able to pull out a 92-86 win.

The Falcons' next action will be at the Holy Trinity Academy tournament on January 12 and 13.
