Expect slowdowns at key intersection in High River

The intersection at Macleod Trail SW and Centre St. in High River will have some temporary shifting of lanes.

A telecommunications team need to repair some underground work this Thursday, Aug. 31 and Friday, Sept. 1.

While the work is being done the left turn lane for southbound traffic, leading into the Sobey's parking lot, will be shifted to a northbound lane.

Centre Street's southbound turning lane will temporarily be combined as a straight and left-turn lane.

Flaggers will be on site while workers are present from 9:00 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. 

Steel plates may be used to cover up excavation work after hours. 

Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.
