The Calgary Stampeders have signed defensive back DaShaun Amos.

Amos is back for his second stint with the Red and White.

He played 19 regular-season games over the 2018 and 2019 seasons in Calgary and was a West Division all-star in 2019.

In 2019, Amos had 42 tackles including one for a loss, eight knockdowns, five interceptions including one returned for a touchdown and one special-teams tackle.

Last year he was released by the Stamps to pursue an NFL opportunity with the Green Bay Packers.

He was waived by the Packers on Sept. 5, 2020.

The Stampeders have also signed American defensive back Marcelis Branch who had try-outs with the Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL.
