The Okotoks Dawgs are still alive in the Western Major Baseball League playoffs.

They defeated the Edmonton Prospects 6-3 Tuesday night in Edmonton to force game 4 Wednesday night.

The offence was lead by Elliot Cary who went 4-5 with a RBI thanks to his second solo home run of the series. Other top performers included Kellen Marruffo who went 3-5 with two stolen bases and an RBI and Josh McIntyre going 2-4 with a walk.

The Dawgs also got a strong performance from Liam Stroud who pitched 7 innings allowing only one earned run while striking out eight.

If the Dawgs win tonight they'll return to Seaman Stadium Thursday night for the final game of the series where the winner will take on the Medicine Hat Mavericks in the West Finals.
