With Monday Feb. 20 being Family Day, a provincial statutory holiday there are some local closures.
High River town facilities will be closed on holiday Monday with the exception of the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex being open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for free activities.
So, the following facilities will be closed:
- Town Office
- Greater Foothills Family Centre
- Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)
- Public Works
- Recycling Centre
- RCMP Administration Office
- Fire & Protective Services Administration Offices
No changes are expected for garbage pickup so if Monday's your day, then just leave it out as usual for pickup.
Essential services such as the Fire Department and RCMP won't be affected.
