Over $20.3 million in building permits have been issued in High River so far this year.
The 2020 total comes to $20,372,497.
That equates to 163 permits that have been issued, more than the 156 handed out all of last year.
Permits for single family homes total 17 with seven multi-family unit permits.
And there have been plenty of renovations undertaken with people stuck at home since March.
Renovation permits total $1,992,049, compared to $2.136,049 in all of 2019.
Government building permit values so far this year have totalled $7,340,000.
High River's best year was back in 2007 when $90.448,490 in building permits were doled out.
There were a total of 355 permits issued in 2007 as well.
