The High River Flyers closed out the weekend with a loss to the Bisons Sunday in Okotoks.

The Flyers held their own though, in a 6-4 loss.

It was the third of three straight for the Bisons this weekend, and they won all three, beating the Three Hills Thrashers 9-4 Friday and Strathmore 8-3 Saturday.

The Bisons remain second in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League's South Division, three points back of the Cochrane Generals.

While the Wheatland Kings sit fourth and the Flyers are fifth, both with 25 points and two games to go in the regular season.

In the midget league's, the Rocky Mountain Raiders "AAA" Midget girls won their lone game of the weekend, 5-1 over the Edmonton Thunder.
