It was a busy weekend in the Heritage B Jr Hockey League.

The High Flyers had three games with a loss on Friday night to kick it off.

The Three Hills Thrashers picked up a 3-1 win at the Bob Snodgrass arena but the Flyers picked up their first win on Saturday in Vulcan.

They Flyers beat Lomond Lakers 5-3 in a penalty riddled game.  They then had to hop back on the bus for a game in Medicine Hat on Sunday afternoon.

The faced off against the Cubs but were soundly beaten 9-1.

And they'll get to do it all over again as the Cubs hop on the bus for the rematch in High River this Friday Oct. 22.

And it was the Okotoks Bisons that picked up another win as they dropped the Cubs on Friday night 4-1 and then picked up another point in a 4-3 OT loss in Sylvan Lake to the Wranglers.

The Bisons have a commanding 8-1-1 record to lead the Southern division.  They next host the Mountainview Colts this Friday Oct. 22.
