The Okotoks Bisons are busy dissecting the season that was.

A week after losing to Coaldale in the Heritage League Playoffs, Bisons G.M. Jay McFarlane says they're still feeling the sting of the loss, particularly the graduating players.

"You've got 11 guys for sure that that was their last game of hockey when we concluded in game six in Coaldale. So, we have the banquet to look forward too and to celebrate and reflect. But I think right now everyone's still a little bit numb."

McFarlane says they're looking forward to their annual awards night on Saturday, April 22, where they'll give the graduating players a proper sendoff.
