The Carstar Okotoks Bisons and the High River Brewing Co. Flyers had a winning weekend.
The Bisons picked up four points with a pair of road wins. Up first were the Generals in Cochrane and the Herd skated away with a 3-0 shutout win on Friday and then they disposed of the Coaldale Copperheads 7-2 on Saturday.
The Flyers also picked up a win in their solo outing with a big 7-1 win over the visiting Red Deer Vipers.
The HJHL is now on pause for the holidays, returning to action January 5.
