Not the ending local teams were looking for at the 4A High School Basketball Provincials in Lethbridge.

On the boys side the Holy Trinity Knights dropped a close 86 - 82 decision to Medicine Hat to finish tenth.

Same story for the Foothills Composite girls who dropped their final game 76 - 49 to Jasper Place and also finished last.

The Centennial Coyotes from Calgary were crowned champs on the boys side while the Raymond Comets tooks the title on the girls side.
