A suspicious vehicle at the Petro Can in Aldersyde lead to charges laid by the Okotoks RCMP.

On June 14 around 3:30 p.m., police noticed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot which was determined to have been reported as stolen from Calgary.

A few hours later RCMP spotted two men and a woman in possession of the stolen vehicle which lead to three arrests.

Through further investigation police discovered a flat deck trailer involved had also been stolen along with a license plate.

According to RCMP, Robert Dunbar, 30, and Robert Fox, 39, both have been charged with three counts of Possession of Stolen Property, and Holly Dolton, 44, has been charged with four counts of Possession of Stolen Property and one charge under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in relation to fentanyl that was found.

The trio have been released and are scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on July 21.
