A 28-year-old man from High River is among three people charged after a series of thefts in southern Alberta.

RCMP in Airdrie along with assistance from Okotoks RCMP arrested three people they believe are responsible for a recent string of property crimes and related thefts

They were found at an Airdrie hotel Friday Sept. 16, where they were arrested without incident.

Cole McLean of High River along with 32-year-old Derek Mumford of Blairmore and 23-year-old Paige Rist of Calgary have been charged with numerous offences including possession of stolen property, as well as outstanding warrants.

RCMP says since the matter is before the courts they will not be commenting further.
