The High River Heat head to the City Wednesday, May 9, to tackle the Calgary Axemen in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

The Heat are looking good again this year as they lead the Tier II South Division with a 6-and-1 record, but the biggest stat is in goal differential, with 100 goals scored, against 39 given up for a +61.

Coach Larry Makortoff says they're gunning for number one again this season.

"You know, our goal is to be in the top three again this year. And right now, by the looks of it, it's only Red Deer who's standing in our way to capture that first place."

The Heat return home Sunday, May 13, for a matinee match-up against the Medicine Hat Sun Devils.
