Many young athletes dream of  when they will be playing their sport at a professional level, and for 14 year old Ethan Landymore that dream is becoming closer to a reality.

The young athlete has been called back to the Nike 2020 3D Blue Chip Recruiting Camp, where young players showcase their talents in front of nearly every NCAA Division 1 coach in the U.S.

Landymore says he'll be playing with the most elite high school aged lacrosse players in North America, giving him a big opportunity for his future career.

"It's the top 120 in North America, around 700 kids that got invited the first time, and I got invited back as one of 120," he says. "I would like to go play in a college, and maybe go pro."

Landymore has had a life filled with lacrosse, playing for teams throughout Okotoks and the Foothills, Ethan's father Ray Landymore says he's had a lot of backing from lacrosse organizations throughout the area.

"He plays for the Okotoks Mustangs which is one of the options for field lacrosse in Southern Alberta, it was started by Courtney Hamm," he says. "The Technical Director is Jesse Fair, currently Jesse Fair is a coach at Harvard University, he is also one of the coaches for the Okotoks Raiders Junior A Lacrosse Club, he was actually the one that recommended Ethan for this camp."

Ethan's father says the camp is just one of the achievements the 14 year old can add to the long list he's already created.

"He's played 3 tournaments this year alone, one in San Diego, that was playing with the Foothills Mustangs," says, "Then he got invited to the West Coast Stars which is an All Star team, he tried out last year in Vegas and made it, so he went to that tournament. The 3D Blue Chip Camp was in Phoenix, and now he's been invited back for the final."

Ethan will be traveling to Baltimore in June to participate in the camp.
