The 50th annual Sugar Bowl is well underway in Raymond Alberta,

A second loss today against Edmonton's Ross Shepards means that the Falcon's are out of the tourney after a very close 58-53 game.

Falcons Coach Mr. Gwilliam says the boys played hard and he's proud of the effort put forward.

"Boys played hard but came up a bit short, we are improving a lot." Gwilliam says "One of our players Adam Pahl is having a dominating year, he scored over 30 points in both games, and over 10 rebounds."

Other Falcons athletes to watch this year are Tyler Ziehl who Gwilliam says is "locking down the other teams and is playing great defense."

Also, Gwilliam says point guard Josh Derochie has done a great job of controlling the tempo of the game.

The southern Alberta teams are strong this year, as Magrath, Raymond, Cardston and LCI are the only teams still left.
