Now that we're in Step 2 of the province's plan to ease health restrictions, fitness centres can operate once again.

On Thursday, the Town of Okotoks announced that two of their recreation facilities will again be accessible.

The Natural High Fitness centre is open starting today for pre-booked sessions, and to those returning loaned equipment.

People with All-Facility passes will be able to renew them, and the fitness facility will also be available on a pay-as-you-go basis for those wanting to try it out.

The walking track at the Pason arena opens Monday and will be available from 7 am to 1 pm for free pre-booked sessions.

The town is still looking at what other low-intensity fitness activities can be offered, and they'll be providing updates as they become available.
