The Heritage Junior B league got back to playing this weekend, their first games since the holiday break.

And the High River Brewing Co. Flyers hit double digits on Friday night in town as they hammered the visiting Cochrane Generals 10-3. Connor Smith, Brandon Jarman and Alex McIsaac each netting a pair of goals in the win.

But the same couldn't be said for the Flyers when they travelled to Coaldale for a game against the Copperheads.  Coaldale ended up winning 7-3 on Saturday.

And the Carstar Okotoks Bisons added two more wins on home ice to push their record to 24-2-0 for first place in the HJHL.

They easily beat the visiting Strathmore Wheatland Kings 5-0 on Friday with Jake Snashall notching his 13th and 14th goals of the season. Grady Nicholas stopped all 28 shots he faced for the shutout.

It wasn't an easy win though for the Herd on Saturday as they just squeaked by the Cochrane Generals 4-3 in overtime. Jady Shigehiro scored the winner just over a minute into the extra period on an assist from Kegan Law.
