The Foothills Falcons are likely still on cloud nine after winning their second straight Tier II high school football title Friday, November 25, 37-4 over Grande Prairie's St. Joe's Celtics.

Running back Peyton Burbank was a one man wrecking crew for the Falcons in the win, scoring two touchdowns.

He says his offensive line deserves a ton of credit.

"They've improved so much this season. Their blocks led me to the end zone every play!"

High River's Keaton Neish, like Burbank, emerged as a break-out star with the Falcons in his grade 10 year

Neish says he hopes it's the start of a dynasty at the Comp.

High River's Keaton Neish racked up some nice yards on kick and punt returns Friday night in the Comp's win over St. Joe's.

"I hope so. Some of our seniors are leaving, so we're not going to have as big of a team as we used to. But I know we've got a couple of good guys in grades 10 and 11 that'll keep our program going."

Neish along with Burbank, will be the core of the team that's expecting to have 31 players back again for next season.

Neish, Burbank and Parker Nakamura from the Holy Trinity Academy Knights will head to Dallas, Texas in January to play in the International Bowl at AT&T Stadium.
