It was a tough game last night for the High River Flyers as they were up against the #1 Cochrane Generals.

They put up a big fight and had a great come back in the 3rd but time just wasn't on their sides leaving the Flyers with 7-5 loss in Cochrane.

The flyers were down by 3 in the 1st period even after they opened up the scoring right away.

It was a different story in the 3rd as we see the Flyers come back with a vengeance.

They scored 4 goals in an effort to tie it up, they gave the Generals a run for their money.

Mason Mazur had 2 assists and 1 goal towards the end of the game.

The Flyers hit the road and head to Red Deer to take on the Vipers tonight.

It's the same story for the Strathmore Wheatland Kings who lost their last regular season game 9-3 in Coaldale,

The Kings started strong with 3 goals in the 1st and 2nd periods, but the snake-pit got the better of them towards the end of the game.

The Okotoks Bisons are at home in the Murray this afternoon for their last regular season game, against the Medicine Hat Cubs at 1:15 P.M.
