High River council meets a day later than usual because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

There's a public hearing set to gather feedback on a proposed Good Neighbours bylaw.

It covers things like snow removal, noise and graffiti.

As for snow removal, it covers how quickly the snow has to be shoveled off a sidewalk or other property after a storm and allows the accompanying noise at all hours.

For graffiti, the bylaw provides direction as to how long it can stay on a surface before it has to be removed by the owner of the site, including town owned property.

Offensive or hateful graffiti would have to be removed immediately.

Council will also look at updating a policy covering the level of service provided by the High River Fire Department.

And during the committee of the whole meeting a discussion of the Rec-Plex arena is on the agenda.

The Committee of the Whole meeting gets started at 12:30 while the regular meeting of council starts at 3:00 p.m.

Both can be viewed on ZOOM.
