Okotoks RCMP arrested three men Tuesday, October 6, charging one with a variety of weapons offences.

After receiving a call about someone pointing a firearm, RCMP arrested the trio, before searching the residence.

Inside they found an 1859 Enfield long barrel high calibre rife, a Winchester shotgun and ammunition.

28 year old Louis Martin Goosen has been charged with pointing a firearm, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized.

RCMP didn't say if the other two men arrested were charged or released.

Goosen was scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court Tuesday, October 13.
