The Okotoks Bowmark Oilers struggled this year in the Circle K Classic U18 tournament in Calgary.

They lost their opening three games but managed to beat Burlington in their fourth game sending them into the playoffs.

However, the Oilers were beat 5-0 by the Pittsburgh Pens Elite on Sunday with all five goals coming in the second period against netminder Carter Esler.

The winner of this year's tournament, which has been running since 1978, is the team from Shattuck-St. Mary's in the United States.
