A 6-1 win for the Okotoks Oilers over the Calgary Mustangs Tuesday, November 29, at the Pason Centennial Arena.

Nolan Thompson led the way for the Oilers with two goals and an assist.

He also led the team in smack talk.

"Coming out of the first period tied 0-0 with a hockey team, that I don't know if you can call a hockey team honestly. We came together in the third a bit and had a better period and I guess we'll go forward from there."

Tanner Laderoute had a goal and two assists on the night, while Cooper Page, Travis Verveda and Kyle Gordon all had singles for the Oilers in the win.

The Oilers are back on the road Friday, December 2, and Saturday, Decemeber 3, in Drayton Valley against the Thunder and Sherwood Park to tackle the Crusaders.
