The Okotoks Oilers play for their 24th win of the season tonight against the Drayton Valley Thunder.

The Oilers beat the Calgary Mustangs 2-1 last night.

Jodie Lawson says that they came out into the game flat because they might have been thinking that it would be an easy game.

"We were on a kind of win streak after beating Canmore twice and thought that this would be a walk in the park, but they proved us wrong,"  Lawson says.

Lawson says that he doesn't think that they came to the rink prepared to play Oiler hockey.

"We aren't going to score if we aren't working hard."

The Oilers are hosting the Drayton Valley Thunder today.

Lawson says that they are a physical and deffensive team and the Oilers have to be ready for that.

"We have to stick to our game, come to the rink ready to play."
