Make it three straight for the Okotoks Oilers as they dumped the Calgary Canucks 4-1 Wednesday night at the Max Bell.

Matt McNair scored a couple in the first period to get the Oilers started with Cooper Page and Connor Chambers scoring one each in the second and third periods to seal the deal.

Page, who played his Triple 'A' hockey with the Calgary Northstars last season at Max Bell, says don't let the fact the Oilers are young fool you.

They're the real deal.

"I think lots of people underestimate us because we're such a young team. And I think what we've put up (so far) this season is just a sign of what we can do in the long run."

The win moves the Oilers to within a point of the AJHL South Division leading Camrose Kodiaks.

The Oilers are 5-1-and-1 to start the season.

They head to Camrose for the AJHL Showcase Weekend Friday and Saturday where they'll battle the Bonnyville Pontiacs and Drayton Valley Thunder.
