The Brooks Bandits rode into town on Easter Sunday for a tilt against the Okotoks Oilers.

Every game matters now as the playoffs loom in just two short weeks.

The Oilers fans numbering just over 900 weren't enough to cheer on the team as they lost 6-3.

Jagger Tapper got the home team on the board first, but the Bandits would pocket a pair before the end of the first period.

The Bandits would add another three goals to take a 5-1 lead before Brett Huxley would add the Oilers' second goal of the game, but the second period would end with a 6-2 lead for Brooks.

Brooks wouldn't score again with the lone third period goal scored by Jack Silverberg of the Oilers for the final score of 6-3.

The Oilers now only have two games left in the regular season with a game against Blackfalds this Friday, April 5 at the Centennial arena with their last regular season game in Spruce Grove on Sunday, April 7 at 4 p.m.

You can listen to the road game this Sunday on the Eagle 100.9 or stream it online at Okotoks Online.
