The chucks got rolling again last night as they started four days of racing at the Strathmore Stampede.

Hats off to Layne MacGillivray who took the for injured driver Colt Cosgrave who also ended up with the fastest time of the night with a run of 1:14:29.

Gary Gorst took second of the night coming in at just 10 one-hundredths of a second behind Cosgrave.

Vern Nolin, Luke Tournier and Codey McCurrach made the top five on the night.

Day one aggregate results saw Okotoks Mark Sutherland in 8th spot and High Rivers Jason Glass in 27th and Jordie Fike also of High River in 22nd.

Day two of racing goes tonight at 7pm.
